I designed the first touchscreen pilot interface for the CPDLC application with a special focus on reducing cognitive load and minimising errors. The design was tested on a vibrating seat with a touchscreen to simulate turbulence conditions. A/B comparision was done with current implementation of A380 (designed by Airbus) aircraft on standard metrics.
